According to ad analytics firm Ace Metrix, this Samsung Galaxy Note spot that appeared on the Academy Awards was the top ad of the first quarter of 2011.

Competitor Apple, which vies with Samsung with its iPhone 4S, only debuted four new ads during the quarter. They didn’t rank in the top ten overall, but, on the list of tech ads, they ranked 7 and 8 on the effectiveness list.
